On April 11 SKOLKOVO Sustainable Business Lab held a section on "Talent development in forest industry" within the VII Conference of the Association of "NWG" FSC. The event gathered representatives of Russian and foreign industrial companies, as well as NGOs in Russia and CIS countries. Among the speakers at the section were Denis Popov, Head of forest certification and environment department at Mondi Syktyvkar, Nikolay Shmatkov, Head of WWF-Russia's Forest Programme, Evgeny Zabubenin, Forestry Manager at IKEA TORG and Irina Kovtun, specialist on certification of wood procurement department at International Paper. Whithin the event participants shared their experiences on the engagement and development of talented specialists and discussed prospects for the development of Russian forest industry.
