Vladimir Korovkin, Head of IEMS Innovations and Digital Research spoke at the conference on financial inclusion and shadow organized by the Bank of Russia and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) in Moscow on November 11. The conference participants – representatives of foreign regulatory authorities, international financial standard setting institutes, professional associations, and market players from 25 countries – gathered to discuss the issues of increasing financial inclusion and mitigating the risks emanating from shadow banking, its specifics, transparency and possible regulation in countries with different level of economic development.
At a discussion panel Vladimir Korovkin presented the report “Digital platforms and ecosystems of financial inclusion. Russian experience” analyzing the growing world of digital financial consumer services. The report includes four cases of Russian financial innovators, who work in different segments of the market.
