During the seminar, presentations were made by experts from the Institute for Emerging Market Studies SKOLKOVO (SKOLKOVO IEMS) and The Centre for Economic and Financial Research (CEFIR, NES). SKOLKOVO IEMS representatives outlined that the world's leading business schools for more than 10 years have focused on the education of responsible business leaders, enriching most of their educational programs with a sustainability development agenda. CEFIR representatives, for their part, shared their experience in the development of an economic and ecological model for the assessment of measures aimed at the Russian Federation's sustainable development. Summing up the meeting, Andrei Sharonov said that the SKOLKOVO business school should become one of the major evangelists of responsible business ideas through the integration of sustainability in the research agenda, as well as in educational programs.
