On 27 May, SKOLKOVO Sustainable Business Centre in cooperation with Unilever hold a conference "Shaping the future of sustainable business in Russia-2016". The conference aimed to consolidate efforts of the most progressive market players in order to jointly promote the sustainability agenda in Russia and facilitate high-quality changes within the areas of influence, such as advancing responsible consumption, building sustainable supply chains, supporting local communities, and developing sustainable urban environment.
The event brought together business leaders, regulatory authorities and experts who shape and drive the sustainability agenda in Russia’s key industries. More than 50 opinion leaders from different companies (Unilever, Cargill, Enel Russia, IKEA Centres, JTI, McDonalds, Samsung Electronics, Tetra Pak, X5, 3M, Dixy, Metalloinvest, Severstal, AFK Sistema and etc.) made presentations as guest speakers at the conference. Russian Managers Association, RusBrand Association, ACORT, Ecobureau GREENS were key partners at the round tables.
